The short version: the app collects nothing, and we like it that way.
Everywhere has no analytics, no telemetry, no account system, and no server of its own.
This page exists to say precisely that, and to be honest about the two places where any
data exists at all.
The app
Everywhere indexes your files on your Mac. The index is one file in
~/Library/Application Support/Everywhere and it never leaves your machine.
The app makes no network requests. It works with Wi-Fi off, forever.
There is no crash reporting, no usage statistics, no phone-home of any kind.
Your licence key is verified offline, using a signature check against a
public key embedded in the app. There is no activation server.
Search queries are processed in memory on your Mac and are never stored or transmitted.
This website
The site is static and loads no third-party scripts, fonts, or trackers —
no analytics of any kind.
Like almost every web server, ours keeps standard access logs (IP address, requested URL,
time, browser user-agent) for security and debugging. They are rotated and are not shared with
anyone.
Purchases
Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. They
receive the details you enter at checkout (name, email, payment method) under their own
privacy policy. We never see your card number.
After purchase we hold the minimum needed to serve you: your email address and
licence key, so we can resend a lost key, honour refunds, and support machine
transfers.
We send no marketing email. Mail from us is your licence key, a receipt, or a reply you
asked for.
Your rights
Write to hello@everywherefast.com to ask
what we hold about you (it will be one row: your email and key), to correct it, or to delete it.
Deleting it means we can no longer resend your key, so keep a copy first.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above changes with it. Since the app collects nothing,
there is very little that could change.
